Hawkesbury Model & Hobby Show Inc. is run by a committee elected by the members. The committee is an administrative body. The organisation of the show is handled by all the members of the association.
There are seven members of the committee including four office bearers – President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Office bearers are elected by the committee. The committee election is held at the Annual General Meeting which is normally held in September. Committee members are elected for two year terms with approximately half the committee elected at each AGM.
At the 2011 AGM a new constitution was adopted. The new constitution, which will take affect from the 2012 AGM, reduces the size of the committee to 5 persons. It also allows office-bearers to hold up to 2 positions and they are now elected at the AGM.
